It’s hard to believe the 80s weren’t really that long ago, yet these hairstyles stop us in our tracks. We love volume, and we love tousled hair, but hair that defies gravity and resembles the chevron pattern it’s so crimped? Not so much. The pop era was also known for its many “hair bands,” which we only partially blame for the flood of frightening mullets. It’s shocking to think that cell phones and computers were the pinnacle of technology in the 80s, and after looking at these hairstyles, you’ll swear that the decade must’ve been much further back in history. Fair warning, you won’t be able to stop looking at these appalling beauty disasters.
