How many people actually remove their makeup at night and do the needed cleanse to keep their skin looking amazing? There are some people who try their best to do this every night, but most people will just go to sleep without caring about their skin.

Your basic skin care regimen should not end with just washing your face and toning. You can also add the following steps:

  • Cleanse your face to get rid of all the makeup, dirt, and grime.
  • Do a face mask in order to soothe your face. A mask will also make your skin less inflamed because of the chemicals you have placed on it.
  • Place moisturizer all over your face and neck.
  • Tap on eye cream after the moisturizer has been fully absorbed by the skin.
  • Get enough sleep.

You should realize by now that sleeping is very important for your skin. Have you ever wondered why you develop pimples when you are not able to get enough sleep? This is because of the toxins that accumulate in your body that it was not able to expel because you did not give it enough rest. People need to get 6 – 8 hours of sleep every night, but most people get only 3 or 4 hours, especially on weekdays when they are busy.

To stop having clogged pores for good, here are some other tips that will help you out.

  • You may need to try different products until you find the right ones that work for your skin. Make sure to research the various items on the market before you make a decision.
  • Take note of the food products that may cause your skin to break out more than usual. When you eat fatty or greasy foods, you may have some oil around your mouth too that can creep onto the skin.
  • Do not wash your face too often. It is recommended to wash the face just twice a day. This will allow the skin to have enough oil throughout the day. Besides, washing your face too much will cause your pores to produce more oil, and this can make the skin more prone to acne.
  • Remember that sweat can cause pores to be clogged. You need to wear light and comfortable clothing that will allow your skin to breathe while you are sweating it all out.

With all of these tips that you have learned about stopping clogged pores for good, you may start to get clearer and dewier skin that you will be proud to show off.
