You’ve heard us say time and time again that lemons are a vital beauty product, especially for your skin. Literally rubbing a sliced lemon on your face does wonders. It’s the essential vitamin C in lemons that decreases wrinkles and blemishes—whether you drink it or apply it directly to your face. In addition to be one of the best solutions for your skin, drinking hot lemon water can also improve your hair health. Lemons have a high content of antioxidants that are great for your scalp. Drinking this daily will prevent having a dry scalp or dandruff. Lemon water will also limit the secretion of sebaceous glands in your scalp so that hair follicles are less likely to get clogged. This will ultimately prevent the buildup of excess oil.

Our recipe is to use the juice of half a lemon combined with a spoonful of organic, raw honey. There’s no need to heat the honey because it will heat up from the boiled water. Let the water cool somewhat before drinking.
