Life with Lauren: Everything on my beauty wish list
What’s up, ladies. With the holidays approaching, it’s almost impossible not to start gathering up some gift ideas for friends and family. How are they supposed to know the shade of highlighter you’ve been eyeing for the past three months? There’s nothing wrong with giving everyone a few ideas and having your own beauty wish list.
I’m here to give you even more ideas, so you’re welcome. The makeup and beauty industry has literally exploded within the past few years, and there are always a million things I wish I could pick up for myself. Obviously I’m not quite there yet, so a beauty wish list will have to do for now.
Moroccan Oil Restorative Hair Mask
With cold weather approaching (or already here) I’m not sure about you, but my hair needs help. It’s starting to look like I’m wearing a straw hat at all times if you know what I mean. Apparently, this mask is amazing for making your hair feel silky and smooth.
Tarte Tarteist Toolbox Brush Set
Do I even need to explain why these brushes are on my wish list? Not only are they gorgeous with a cute magnetic box, they are multi-use and travel friendly. These are the only brushes you need while traveling, and they’re compact enough to pack away in a suitcase. I’ll take 5.
Bite Beauty The Perfect Bite Set
Bite beauty has some of the best lipsticks on the market. Everything about them is perfection—the formula, shades, longevity, everything. Why not try out a few shades in this cute kit?
Too Faced Chocolate Bar Eye Palette
This one is an oldie but a goodie. Just look at those shades! You could create the everyday eyeshadow look, or a smoky eye with this palette with just a few shades. Talk about perfection in a palette.
Anastasia Glow Kit in That Glow
Highlight on fleeeeeeek. This palette has those gorgeous golden highlight shades everyone loves, and even some more bronzy ones for darker skin tones. You can even use them as eyeshadows, um, I’ll take every shade.
GLAMGLOW Super-Mud™ Clearing Treatment
While these masks are notoriously pricey, we’ve all seen everyone rave about the results from them. I’m dying to try at least one. What better time to ask for some expensive skincare than the holidays?
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit
This palette’s beauty completely explains itself. Face powder, bronzer, highlighter, blush—what else do you need? Hourglass is known for providing a natural glow without being too overwhelming. If the Anastasia palette is a bit too much for you, this one will be perfect.
