It’s been years now, and I still have a serious problem with purchasing beauty products that I don’t need. It all started in middle school when I was only allowed to wear makeup to choir concerts (exclusively blush and eyeliner), and then would proceed to leave it on for school the next day. Cute right?
I’ve always had a fascination with makeup, skincare, haircare and anything else I can get my hands on. Why would that stop now that I’m about to enter the real world? I think I have a pretty solid foundation of products on hand that I wouldn’t give up for my first born child (kidding, but not really).
L’Oreal True Match foundation

It doesn’t matter how much this foundation costs or where I buy it, it will always be a favorite. The True Match line that L’Oreal carries has such a wide range of shades that you will have no problem finding your perfect match. I fluctuate between shades, but I love this foundation because it has a more golden/olive undertone to match my skin, which is really hard to find at the drugstore. It has the perfect amount of coverage and it just makes your skin look flawless, trust me.
Colourpop lip gloss

It’s no secret that I’m obsessed with a nude lip. I had been on the hunt for the perfect nude lip gloss to top a lipstick that wouldn’t make me look dead and washed out, and people, I’ve found it. The formula is not too sticky, and it’s comfortable. It’s the perfect shade to top any nude lipstick.
MAC Give Me Sun bronzer

I was never a huge MAC girl, but I am for this product. It’s a very warm bronzer, so keep that in mind if you’re more fair or don’t have a lot of warm undertones. But I love this product because I have to use so little of it to get the perfect sun-kissed color.
Patchology Lip Renewal patches

I love face masks, but lip masks?! Even better. These are coated in a serum that helps hydrate and plump your lips, making them feel healthy and amazing.
Tartelette in Bloom Eyeshadow Palette

When it comes to eyeshadow, I tend to stick to what I know is good. This palette has it all, and I’m not exaggerating. When I go on vacation or travel anywhere, this is the only eyeshadow I bring. The palette has everything: a transition shade, deeper shades, mattes, shimmers, what else could you ask for? Plus, it smells like chocolate.
Do you have something on your mind beauty and lifestyle related? Ask me in the comments, and I’ll have an answer for you next week in my column! Don’t be shy, I’m up for the challenge.
Xoxo –
