Monday Motivation: Green Tea Detox Bath

Typically our #MondayMotivation focuses on something to make your mornings a little easier. This week we’re changing things up with a little treat and well-deserved break that you can look forward to all day. So in a sense, this may still make your morning easier.

What better way to unwind after a long Monday than to draw a detox bath, soak, and relax? We have a recipe to the perfect detox bath—soothing green tea. Once you have a bath drawn, throw in 5-10 green tea bags.

Green tea is beneficial for your skin for a multitude of reasons, including being rich in antioxidants. This can reverse aging, giving your skin a youthful, radiant glow that will get you to Friday with more ease. Be sure to fully immerse yourself to get the tea on your face too. Green tea is known for actively healing acne too.

The steam from the detox bath does wonders all on its own as well. The green tea steam will moisturize your skin, relax muscles, plump wrinkles, eliminate toxins, clear dirt from your pores, and boost circulation in your skin.

Making this detox bath an evening activity is a great idea because the green tea bath soak will effectively clear your mind and provide deep relaxation. You’ll have no trouble falling into the deep sleep that you so greatly deserve after a long Monday.
