Morning Beauty Hacks

We all want to sleep longer while still looking great in the morning. But sometimes, when it comes to shortening our routine, we don’t know where to start. If you want to save a few more minutes on your Monday morning (or any morning) beauty routine, you’ll need these morning beauty hacks.

Go Neutral

Neutral makeup doesn’t reveal as many mistakes as those colors that are brighter and bolder. This makes it easy to brush on some simple eyeshadow and lip color in a hurry. For neutral shades, stick to browns, taupe, mauves, and tans.

Bronzer Is A Time-Saver

Instead of sticking to your multi-step face routine, grab a brush and some bronzing powder for an instant lift. Sweep some on all over your face and brush a little extra on the cheekbone area. You can even use an eyeshadow brush to dust some around your eyes to add some dimension.

Just Wash Your Bangs

If your hair looks a little greasy but you’re short on time, try just washing and drying your bangs. Typically, they’re the dirtiest part of your hair because of the grease from your forehead. A little baby powder can also work wonders to soak up any oil.

Multi-Task When Blow Drying

Instead of applying your facial moisturizer and waiting for it to dry before you apply makeup, try applying your moisturizer while you’re blow drying your hair. Start drying your hair, stop to apply the moisturizer, then finish drying. Every minute counts!

Smooth Bedhead

Get extra use out of every drop of your facial moisturizer. After you have applied it to your face, use any leftover to smooth bedhead. Your hair will love the extra moisture, too.

Choose A Manageable Haircut

One of the best things you can do to simplify your beauty routine is to get a haircut that makes your hair manageable. Talk with your stylist about a cut and style that is low maintenance and will get you out of the door faster in the morning.

Set Pin Curls Or Braids The Night Before

If you want curls but don’t have the time in the morning, consider setting pin curls. Start with slightly damp hair and wrap sections around your fingers to create a curl. Secure with a bobby pin to the base of the curl and repeat over your entire head. You can also braid your hair the night before and wake up to nice waves when you take them out.

Choose Multipurpose Cosmetics

Instead of using several different beauty products, look for products that combine purposes to speed up your routine. Items such as tinted moisturizer, hydrating cleanser, and de-puffing concealer are great examples.

Eyebrows, Eyelashes, Eyeliner

If you don’t have time to do a full face of makeup, you can get by just doing your eyebrows, eyelashes, and eyeliner. Focusing on making your eyes pop will help you look more awake and alert without spending serious time on your makeup routine.

Clear Clutter

Organizing your beauty station will save some serious time in the morning. Move products that you rarely use out of the way and put go-to products front and center for easy access.

Use Dry Shampoo

Sometimes you just don’t have time to wash your hair in the morning. Enter dry shampoo. Spraying some on the roots and massaging it throughout your hair will give your hair a lift and make it look fresh.

No matter how different our morning routines are, each of us can appreciate these morning beauty hacks that can help us save time. Try putting these morning beauty hacks to use and watch your mornings get easier and faster!
