A beautiful manicure is a wonderful treat and using just the right color can put you in a great mood. But toxic chemicals are unfortunately an unwanted part of our nail care experience. They can damage your nails and expose you to nasty airborne allergens or irritants.
So, while no nail polish is totally chemical free, we have assembled a list of some of the best brands of non-toxic nail polish out there. Hopefully these non-toxic nail polish brands can make painting your nails more about fun, and less about fumes!
Acquarella nail polishes are water-based, free of nasty chemicals and come in a wide array of colors. It also stays on very well. But, all of that comes with a price. This stuff isn’t cheap!
By eliminating camphor, toluene, formaldehyde resin,formaldehyde, and DBP from its products, Zoya changed the way that nail polish was made. We are all thanking them for that! They have become very popular and an added bonus is they release new colors every season!

Scotch Naturals is one of the best brands out there and a fan favorite. The colors are amazing and unique and they smell like virtually nothing.
Suncoat uses natural ingredients, water, and mineral pigments, to create nail polish that is peelable. That’s right. It is peelable, which means you never need remover. They sell amazing colors and unique nail art that is all-natural, fume-free and easy as 1-2-3 to get off.
Like Suncoat, this brand is water-based. It is not peelable, but it will come off with vodka or rubbing alcohol. No nasty remover fumes, either!
Piggy Paint is also one of the least expensive brands of natural nail polishes out there. However, it does not last as long as some of the others. It is the perfect choice for kids who want to change their colors every other day.
