
Trending Hair Colors For 2016
With a new year right around the corner, it can be tempting to go for a new look. New year, new look, right? Get the new year started off right with these trendy shades that are sure to make an impact in 2016. Luckily, the thing with hair color is that tons of looks trend at once, so you’re sure to find one that fits your taste.
Rainbow hair with roots: Katy Perry’s really been rocking the rainbow-hued hair with dark roots for a stunning combination look. Expect that trend to stretch into 2016.
Aubergine: Fans of dark red hair rejoice! Aubergine is a very deep plumb red with a gorgeous, satin appearance.
Strawberry blonde: Here’s another classic color that is sure to be a showstopper. Hues range from deep, light red to blonde with hints of copper.
Babylights: Not sure what babylights are supposed to be? They’re highlights that have been added through mesh (or similar tool) so that the highlights come out very fine. It adds more of a multidimensional look to hair.
Merlot: This color is perfect for women who like colors on the dark auburn end. It’s a red color with cocoa shades.
Bronde: Not quite blonde, not quite brown, this in-between tone is a cross between golden blond and warm brown.
Rose gold: This is another in-between color with great definition. It’s not quite blonde, not quite pink, not quite red, not quite copper, yet it’s all of these shades in one.
Black-blue: Want to go dark? Sleek black-blue will be trending.

Dipped ends: Hair ends with wild colors contrasted against natural lengths are going to be huge. Another common look is to add pastel ends to platinum hair.
Chocolate brown: Proving that there’s still room for the classic styles, a lush chocolate brown will have a place of honor in 2016.
Opal hair: This hair color mimics the gem from which it was named. It’s a largely platinum hue with facets of pastel pinks, blues and greens.
Metallic pastels: Pastels with a metallic sheen will be huge. Expect metallic blues, silvery purples and shimmery reds.

Pastel pink highlights: Pastel pink hair is always a funky and classy look for people who want to shake things up, but don’t want to look too wild. Pink highlights with blonde hair is a subtly unique look that is going to be big.
Grey: #GrannyHair has been all the rage in 2015 and is sure to continue into next year.
Platinum blonde: This classic color will be on the roster for top looks in 2016.
