weekend wardrobe

After your Memorial Day weekend festivities, chances are you’re having a hard time adjusting back into the real world. Girl, I’ve got you. Here are some of my biggest fashion inspiration accounts and some specific pieces I’ve been loving lately. Enjoy.

White jeans

It’s officially post Memorial Day weekend, which means white jeans are in full swing. Even though I usually don’t like to abide by style rules, it still feels exciting that society allows us to wear white jeans without looking like a fool at this time of year. Whether they’re ripped, sleek, or boyfriend style, white jeans can complement just about any outfit.

Long sleeve dresses

While it’s probably fairly warm wherever you live, it’s always nice to have a long sleeve dress on hand for any breezy days that might happen upon you. Not only are they cute and capable of being dressed up or down, they’re comfortable. Throw one on for a casual day at work, or simply to run errands.

Printed shorts

I am a huge fan of printed shorts. Especially this banana leaf print, because summer. You can pair this fun green print with black, white, nude, or a brighter color if you’re feeling ballsy. They’re perfect for a night out, or to pack for your next vacation.

Jean vest

Jean jackets have always been a favorite, but jean vests?! They take the denim trend to a whole new level. You can layer it over just about anything to add a casual/comfy flare to your whole look.

Detailed sports bra

Nothing feels better than working out in cute clothes, right? Sports bras have become a new obsession of mine, mostly because they’re comfortable and now it’s acceptable to wear them in public even when you’re not as fit as you wish you were. Pair it with a flowy top to make sure everyone can see the detail you’re rocking underneath.
